Infosys Launches 200+ Enterprise AI Agents to Streamline Industry Operations

What if business processes could run smarter, faster, and with less human intervention? Infosys is working to make that a reality.

In a new development, Infosys has introduced over 200 enterprise AI agents, developed through its Infosys Topaz AI platform and in collaboration with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. These agents are designed to handle intricate workflows, automate decision-making, and support operations at scale.

AI Agents Built for Business Impact

These newly launched AI agents target key sectors, including healthcare, finance, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and agriculture. By applying advanced machine learning and cognitive architectures, the agents can:

  • Extract and analyze data from varied sources.
  • Process different data formats using multimodal capabilities.
  • Operate through encrypted channels to maintain privacy.
  • Make autonomous decisions for complex tasks.

The result is improved efficiency, quicker decision-making, and reduced operational overhead.

Use Cases Across Key Domains

Infosys shared examples of how these AI agents are already creating value:

  • In network operations, a monitoring agent tracks real-time network usage and alerts teams about capacity concerns before they become critical, reducing downtime and improving system reliability.
  • In corporate finance, agents assist in accounts payable and receivable by managing reporting, optimizing cash flow, and minimizing the risk of delays or errors.
  • In manufacturing, a forecasting agent utilizes live data to predict demand for vehicle parts, adjust inventory levels, and automatically place orders, thereby ensuring smoother and more efficient supply chain operations.

A Collaboration Built on Shared Strengths

This initiative is part of the Infosys–Google Cloud partnership, which falls under their Cloud Center of Excellence and leverages Infosys Topa AI capabilities and Google Cloud’s agentic AI framework. According to Infosys EVP Balakrishna D. R., the goal is to advance Human+AI collaboration to boost precision and performance across industries.

Victor Morales, Vice President at Google Cloud, added that these enterprise AI agents demonstrate how automation and decision intelligence can support complex workflows and reduce operational friction.

What It Means for Enterprises

Infosys’ AI agents represent a shift from isolated AI tools to scalable, multi-agent systems that can operate in real business environments. For IT leaders, this marks the next phase in AI adoption, where enterprise agents play a crucial role in streamlining operations, enhancing accuracy, and driving cost efficiencies across various functions.
